Jose Navarro is Head of Design at Italdesign, where he leads the Design Business Unit and oversees creative direction across all sectors in which the company operates.

A long-standing professional within the company, Navarro joined Italdesign in 1996 after graduating in Industrial and Product Design from the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Over nearly three decades, he has held roles of increasing responsibility, contributing to several key projects developed at the Moncalieri headquarters alongside Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro.

Throughout his career, he has played an active role in strengthening Italdesign’s international presence. He supported the development of Italdesign California, helping build relationships with major manufacturers’ design and engineering research centers in the United States. He later led the Italdesign Barcelona and Italdesign China Design Centers and subsequently served as General Manager of Italdesign China.

Jose Navarro’s professional path reflects Italdesign’s own evolution, shaped by global growth, innovation and a forward-looking design vision. His deep understanding of the company’s history, culture and international dimensions, combined with a strong design background and global mindset, underpins his leadership of Italdesign’s creative direction.
