Christian Dodd

Christian Dodd is an Executive Design Director of Digital Product Design at Ford Motor Company, where he leads the strategy and design of vehicle connectivity, personalization, and cabin control experiences across Ford's global product portfolio. In this role, he oversees a global team of more than 150 designers, researchers, and writers, guiding the integration of digital and physical interfaces that shape how millions of drivers interact with their vehicles every day.

Over a decade at Ford, Christian has held a series of progressively senior design leadership roles, including responsibility for research, quality, and end-to-end digital design across in-vehicle and mobile experiences for production Ford and Lincoln vehicles. He previously led interaction design for Ford's mobile core platforms and served as global product owner for Ford and Lincoln mobile apps, directing product strategy, customer validation, and analytics across teams in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Before joining Ford full-time, Christian built a career at the intersection of user experience, brand strategy, and emerging technology. As VP, User Experience Strategy Director at Cramer-Krasselt, he led experience strategy and design for clients including Porsche, Heinz, and Brightline's high-speed rail launch in Southeast Florida. His earlier experience spans user experience leadership at Whirlpool Corporation, interactive strategy at Organic Inc., and interaction design at Digitas, where he worked with brands such as American Express and The New York Times.

Christian holds a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from the University of Michigan. He speaks regularly on the evolution of digital automotive design, the convergence of physical and digital interfaces, and how large organizations scale human-centered design across global product ecosystems.
