Libby Holt specializes in product development and prototyping for automotive glazing. Her team supports CMF design projects to investigate how automotive glass can serve as both a technical and emotional surface. Laminated glass interlayers are evolving to carry more diverse design elements – new colors, transparencies, finishes, and layered graphics. She focuses on educating designers about the design capacity of laminated glass, and bringing their ideas to prototypes and concept vehicles. Her vision is to see automotive glazing take on more of the emotional and storytelling mantle of car design.
